ABOUT FRANKIE FORZONI - FEMALE TRIATHLON COACH
Hey, I'm Frankie.
Female triathlon and running coach. Sports nutritionist. Fertility nutrition specialist. Norseman Xtreme Triathlon finisher. Coaching women through running, triathlon, nutrition and the things life throws at them since 2016.
MY STORY
I became the coach I needed
In my early twenties I was signed off work. In and out of hospital with depression and chronic pain. On antidepressants and sleeping pills, then more pills for the side effects of the first ones.
I walked out of the doctor's one day with a bag of medication thinking this cannot be my life.
I came off everything. I dedicated my time off to researching how anyone in the world was actually happy and healthy. I found the same five pillars again and again. Nutrition, movement, time outdoors, community, mindfulness.
I started running up and down my car park because I was too self-conscious to run on the road. Three months to get from couch to 5K. Ordered "How to Run a Marathon" off Amazon. Everyone said I couldn't do the London Marathon. I did it anyway.
That's how Pretty Strong was born. From a woman who couldn't run for one minute, who wanted control of her life back.
In 2018 I posted on Facebook in Singapore offering to coach anyone for free. Four times a week for seven months. Couch to full marathon. I just wanted to make friends.
Over 100 women emailed me. Rape survivors. Women with bipolar, anxiety, depression. They couldn't understand why someone would do this for free.
Because I'd been there. Because if I could help, why not?
That's still why I do this. I love seeing women do things they were told they couldn't. I love kids saying "Mum, don't forget your protein." I love kids asking for Pretty Strong kit because they want to do a kids' Ironman.
Pretty Strong isn't a coaching business. It's the thing that saved me, given away to anyone willing to do the work.
MY METHOD
What I believe
Lifestyle-first programming
Across swim, bike, run, and strength. Flexible enough to live, structured enough to progress.
01
Nutrition on awareness, not restriction
Athletes who actually understand fuelling. Not athletes who count calories until they crash.
02
03
Biofeedback as the qualitative backbone
Weekly check-ins on stress, sleep, energy, digestion, hunger cues. Numbers tell half the story.
Manage your cycle, don't sync to it
Because race day doesn't care what phase you're in. We coach women to manage their cycle the way they manage life.
04
Strength training is non-negotiable
Two to three sessions a week. The missing piece most endurance coaches skip.
05
High-touch by design
WhatsApp access. Voice notes. Community groups. Calls on demand. Never coaching from a distance.
06
The woman comes first, the athlete comes second
I coach women, not "runners" or "triathletes." Movement, longevity, mental wellbeing first.
07
I lead from the front
I've done the things. Norseman. Four marathons. The comebacks. If I haven't done it, I won't coach it.

I race what I coach
Norseman Xtreme Triathlon, 2024
The toughest Ironman on the planet. My comeback race after being hit by a car.
4 marathons
London (x2), Rome, Singapore.
Longevity in the sport
Still racing at a high level. Coaching from a place of being a current athlete, not a retired one.
Living proof
That hormonal health, body composition, and mental wellbeing can be built without restriction.
LIVED EXPERIENCE
AS FEATURED ON
The conversations
Long-form chats on female endurance, nutrition, mental health, and what it actually takes to do hard things.
If we're aligned.
The fastest way to know if Pretty Strong is right for you is to apply.
Short form, two minutes. I read every one personally.
